Locate Birthdays
Finding a VIPs birthday might pose a challenge, but here are some helpful suggestions that you can use. Just make sure you know both your VIPs cell phone number and email address.
If you have a Facebook account, here is a way to look up your contact’s birthdays.
On the desktop website:
1. Go to the Facebook website and log in to your account, if necessary.
2. Click Events in the left sidebar (or type in “Events” on the Search Facebook search bar)
3. Select Birthdays in the sidebar.
Your friends’ birthdays will then appear on the screen, starting with any birthdays that are on the day of searching, followed by recent and upcoming birthdays.
Quick tip: You can also view a friend’s birthday from their profile by clicking the About tab at the tab of their profile page, and selecting Contact and basic info on the left. Unless they’ve hidden their birthday, it will be listed under Basic info.
On the mobile app:
1. Open the Facebook app and log in to your account, if needed.
2. Tap the magnifying glass icon, located at the top of the screen.
3. Type Birthdays into the search bar and select the option at the top of the screen.
A list of your friends’ birthdays will then appear, ordered in the same way as on the desktop version of the site.
Quick tip: You can also view a friend’s birthday from their profile by tapping See [name]’s About Info underneath their profile image and name. Unless they’ve hidden their birthday, it will be listed on the next screen under Basic Info.
